Community Improvements
Retaining Wall at 119th Place
Windstar Properties has graciously agreed to absorb the cost of
closing in the wall to prevent access to La Cienega from 119th
Place. The block work has been completed and the landscaping will
soon be finished. This will hopefully deter County Courthouse and
the Windstar development parking on 119th Place.
Community Benefits Update
The
neighborhood benefits committee met on April 12th and has on some
projects that top our list. The County has agreed to meet again with
us in 90 days, at which time they will have a preliminary cost
analysis on the suggested items.
Included in the analysis are:

Re-landscaping the following median strips is on top; Aviation
between 121st and 124th----- La Cienega between 124th Street and El
Segundo blvd.

Improving the baseball fields at Del Aire park
The
funds ($150,000 given to us by Wind star communities) will be
distributed as follows;

$100,000 for community improvement and
-
$50,000 for park improvement.
