Recent Burglaries
Captain Kevin A. Goran attended our
general neighborhood meeting on July 20th to introduce himself to
the community. He stated that he wants to be proactive with our
community to work and partner with us to resolve our problems.
Captain Goran reported that according
to Lennox Sheriff’s Station crime statistics, there have been 19
burglaries in the last two months in our area. This number is
reduced due to parts of unincorporated Wiseburn’s statistics showing
in the Del Aire report.
With regard to these burglaries:
- There is no pattern
- Suspects are 3 male Hispanics and
3 male African-Americans
- Method of entry is open windows
and unlocked doors
Captain Goran stressed the importance
of locking and closing all windows and doors – even those on upper
levels.
