Windstar Communities Update
At the October 27th DNA Meeting,
Eric Heffner of Windstar Communities spoke to our community. The
construction on the Pacific Concourse property has begun, and
Eric has assured us that his company will be vigilant regarding
construction-related disturbances in our community. Windstar
will not tolerate construction employees parking in our
neighborhoods. |

Eric also, as a gesture of good will, presented a
$5,000.00 check to the Aviation Little League and promised
$5,000.00 more next year. He also announced that they are going
to hire 2-3 teens for summer jobs as construction will last 2-3
years.
Windstar will be fully funding the
Del Aire Neighborhood Benefits Committee as is required by the
negotiated agreement between the Del Aire Neighborhood
Association, the County of Los Angeles and the developer. This
will happen when construction rises above the street level. Now
that construction has started, we look forward to a positive
relationship with our new neighbor. If anyone has any problem
with the construction, ie: dust, parking, etc., Eric has made
